This is a common phrase that you will see after a new gun is introduced to the gun range. It's gotten to the point where it's an old meme. I might get sick of reading this in the comments, but I get where you're coming from. The Glock series of pistols are widely available, and their magazines are not only cheap, but also reliable and easy to find. It's no surprise that the market has taken notice, as various firearms other than Glock pistols carry Glock magazines these days. The Amend2 Glock magazine is the newest contender in a rapidly filling market.
Amend2 now makes a variety of Glock magazines. This includes the A2-17 for the Glock 17 I have. They also carry Glock models 19, 22, 23, 42 and 43. Capacities vary, with the G17 having 18 rounds of 9mm. The Amend2 Glock magazine feels lighter than a traditional Glock magazine. It does not have the metal parts of the Glock OEM magazine and feels very light. Not only does the magazine have extra wheels, but it also has a very nice large plate with two large plates that hold it all together. It sports a bright red fan with a hole in each wheel.
The weight made me think the magazine felt cheap and didn't hold much promise. The base plate is interesting and in my experience it is easy to get a magazine in the magazine pouch. The witness stand was great too. The Amend2 Glock magazine takes a page from Magpul's school of Glock mags and includes a lightweight follower.
Although the fan is red and not bright orange. A light sensor is useful in low light situations to know if your magazine is empty or low. If you stop, open the stick to see how much ammo is left on the bright red fans, which are easy to see through the sturdy holes in the back.
Amend2 A2 Stick 34 Round Magazine
This magazine was also cut for the Gen 4 convertible magazine version, but not for the ambi version. This magazine will of course work with every generation of Glock, as well as Glocks 80 to Polymer 80. Inside the magazine, the spring is strong and attached to the follower and lock plate. The key plates are two large red plates that are easy to push apart and strong enough not to break every time.
The Amend2 Glock magazine is easy to carry and has no problem loading 18 rounds into the magazine. This magazine will also lock the gun into the slide when fully loaded. The only way to know how to check a magazine is to load it, fire it, and keep doing it. So that's what I did.
I shot a variety of weapons. The bullet that kills mags the most is the Winchester Steel. Often the chains will hang the follower. In this case, the Amend2 Glock magazine feeds 50 rounds without issue. I got another 150 rounds through normal brass ammo.Sometimes I loaded the magazine completely, other times I loaded a few rounds for practice.
I live on a sand hill and I love falling head over heels in that sweet sand. Again and again I dropped the rod, put it back and did it again. Els magazine never fails. And the mag is free-falling with nothing.

Shown how good mag bag loading is for quick base plate loading. It is wide, easy to hold, and reduces the chance of mishandling the yellow finger case on the magazine.
Like I said before, magazines feel like light, and I usually associate light with poor quality. However, this is not always the case. I loaded and unloaded the magazine from waist and head height onto concrete, wood, and gravel, doing several drop tests. I took it out of the gun and threw it in different directions. Amend2 Glock spits a magazine or two when unloaded when fully loaded. The story seems to stop once you reach level 15.
After dropping it and hitting the plastic fruit box a few times, I loaded and started shooting again. Fortunately, the magazine did not fail. The Amend2 Glock magazine has not been fired yet. There is no visible damage on the outside either. Disassembly is easy and I had no problem getting sand out of the magazine body.
The MSRP for these magazines is $16.99, but I bought mine locally for $11. $11 for a magazine that works like this is a steal. I've only tested one magazine and like to try a few before declaring them suitable for concealed carry or work. However, for competitions and training, I will sincerely advise. I don't see any issues at this point, but the work or hidden hints need to be explored more closely than a few other journals. If you've tried it yourself, let me know what you find below.
